You think every one has access to DSL available to them ? This guy posted that he wishes he could come her and enjoy himself but the site takes forever to load from all the banners. Well it does and it sux..!!!
For the record where I live Idon't have access toDSL,T1 or even Cable, never mind pizza delivery. Thank You Bells South/ AT&T, Com Cast and Pizza Hut.
Ihave a broad band air card that affords me the luxury to vist this site without having to wait 5 mins for the page to load up. Funny thing, I can visit other sites with dial up (yes I still have it as back up) and it loads quickly.
I thought bikers here had a little class, obviosly some here aren't much different than a wanna be poser [:@]
I live in the country and the only ISP I can use is satellite. With satellite HDF is painfully slow, way slower than any other sites I visit.
The down side of satellite is you have to purchase the antenna and modem which is expensive. Give Hughes.net a look....
Class? Bikers have class? And those that don't are posers? Give me a break. What about those poor innocent people who can't afford Microsoft Windows and are running MS-DOS on a 386? Let's cater to them! While we are at it, lets make school teams large enough so everybody can play and our poor kids won't have to compete and be cut from the team! And GRADES!!!...what an unfair way of humiliating our kids! Lets do away with a grading system so all of our kids can feel better about themselves. Competition is bad! Don't pick on the little guy!
Or...maybe some people will have to without certain things due to the choices that they have made in life. I know, it is not popular torealize that there are consequences for decisions that we make. If you choose to live way out in the country, and enjoy the beauty of nature, there may be some technological inventions that are unavailable to you. Don't bash everybody else for the choices you made.
I know how he feels I could not get anything but dial-up sense I moved here in '99. This year I got Wildblue on Satillite and it is a lot faster. This is the slowest forum I have found to date.
However it's the best Harley forum I have found. I just go get a cup of coffee and wait sometimes while it loads. There are times when I have to click on a link 4 or 5 times to get it to load. I don't know what the problem is but I will wait.
