Would you use a website similar to E-bay but that was geared towards nothing but Motorcycles and Motorcycle Parts?

Ebay can rape you when trying to sell a bike or even expensive parts with its high fees and I was just curious if anyone would use a site similar to it but if the fees were like $2 or $3 per listing instead of $30, $40 or higher.

Just Curious......

I would love a site like that. E-bays "final value fee" has gotten ridiculous. You pay 3 -4 bucks for the listing, then the final value fee then paypal takes a fee, then paypal charges another fee for you to get a check because I will not let them link to my checking account, and e-bay owns paypal thats 4 fees all for ebay per item sold.

I just add the cost of the fees into the item. Ebay works well for me. Plus you are protected by paypal and they enforce it. I wouldn't use another site because all the high volume traffic is on ebay.

I agree, I use Craigslist all the time but having an auction where the price can actually go up and make you some money depending on how bad the buyer wantes it is nice, lol

This was just a question of curiosity, thanks for the input so far.....

HaHaHa....No

I do like to build sites in my spare time just for fun but I was just asking to see if people would actually put it to use before I spent time on making the site.

Not everyone sells their parts or bikes on Ebay, alot of them use Craigslist now which I tend to use alot, but the only problem there is you can only buy/sell in your city and not the whole country, unless you want to post the same ad 10000times.
I just thought the idea for the site might be useful...we will see

I would be all for it .

but i rember when ebay used to be agood place to get stuff .

and unfortunatly i think a new site while it would be good for a while would head right down the same path .

just my thoughts
