Heckling
I remember riding out to Menoken ND(bike party 95)and haveing a p/u tailing me for about 20 miles, they kept getting on my *** and backing off then finaly they pulled up along side me and just staired at me(getting worried at this point)the passanger rolled his window down and(getting more scared)pulled up a Budwiser openend it upand handed it too me while we were going 65mph down I-94....How often has that happenend to anyone.......They were headed to the bike party too...
you guys need to stand up for yourselfs a little bit more. I aint sayin that it needs to lead to violance, but if someones a jerk and acts in a disrespectful way you need to let them know and how you feel. Im kinda upset ready that no one wants to standup for themselves anymore
Friend of mine carries a small ball pein hammer and a pocketful of large ball bearings when he rides. Never took it that far myself, but I understand the sentiment.
I am in agreement that you are probably better offnot pushing things these days.
Exactly. Any confrontation between a bike and a cage, the bike and rider lose.
Let it go.

A couple of times, I've had to literally kick the sh*t out of someone's front quarter panel to get their attentionat low speed while they continued toward me, sometimes not realizing I was even close to themuntil they heard/felt me kicking at them.
I'm fortunate to know someone who can provide me with personal information if I can supply a license plate number.Over the years, a few idiots have received phone calls from me laying into them and warning themto be more careful...you'd be surprised how contrite someone can be when confronted on the phone by a real personwho now knows who they are.
I've got friends who carrynutsin their jackets and think nothing of flinging them at the windshield of an offender. I haven't taken it that far myself...yet...but, it seems like it'd be one hell of awake up callto an ignorant cager.
No matter what, though, ride safe.
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Maybe you were going to slow?
Cars may have the weight advantage but,my bike has acceleration and handling advantage.
If your riding a Harley, don't be the slow guy in the left lane, please!
Itwill **** everybody off!
Many bikers these day carry concealed weapon (I'd recommend doing it legally with a valid CCW Permit),amd a high percentage of people in 4-wheel vehicles do the same.
Do what you think you have to do, but just realize that some people wouldn't think twice about putting a couple of rounds in your direction.
I've been shot a few times, and it's not enjoyable, to say the least.
Not saying you shouldn't "stand up for yourself', but when you do just be prepared for anything that might develop, and don't assume the other party is going to back down or whatever just because you are riding a loud motorcycle.
It's a different world today, and there are no 'rules' as to actions people might take against you on the streets or anywhere else.... This is especially true if you are a 'lone rider', where there is no one there to back you up, and they realize that it's just you against them....
Take Care and Be Safe out there on the Mean Streets.....
(Just my opinion, which is worth all of $0.00003)..
