Ridin' Glasses Suggestions
I need to get a new set of glasses to wear - any suggestions? I looked at Panoptx and I don't want to pay $200. So, what is recommended around $80 - $100?Also, I think different lenses would be a good idea so I can switch to clear at night. Thanks in advance.

There'a a bunch of threads on this if you search. I like my Guard Dogs, longest I've ever had a pair of glasses, 8 years now. I ran over them in the drive the other day, still all good.

Do you need prescription glasses or just plain glasses? You can get plain ones for around $100. I have Panoptyx Warrior pres. sunglasses which were around $200 & I really like them, good quality.

Are you looking at prescription lenses? Because if you are not then, Panoptx and or Wiley X can be had for well under $200.00 at: http://www.adseyewear.com/results_m/...%207-Eye/2.php and other places like: http://sunglassextreme.com/panoptx-w...g-eyewear.html If you are talking prescription or photochromic and such, it's hard to get much quality in any glasses for less than that.

I just bought a pair of Wiley WX Airborne's for $121. They would have been $72, except I got the ones with auto-darkening lenses. They don't get really dark, and don't go entirely transparent, but I wore them all day on Saturday for a 167 mile ride in full sun, and wore them indoors when we stopped for lunch, so feel like their dark-light range is reasonable.

i have prescription panoptx with the day/night transition lenses.. they go from clear to a nice dark lens.. look solid black in the mirror. Love'm
