It definitely keep those Bastage's off the car
But I do use it on the bike I keep a can in the bags and spray it on when ever
Its in the bag mainly for the windshield ,bug removal

ORIGINAL: Mr. Lucky

I thought Pledge was just something the guys down south used to keep the lovebugs from sticking to the paint [sm=smiley25.gif]

I found out that using the Lemon Pledge on Windshields removes the protective film on it, I can see it on mine, it is starting to discolor around the edges, I never tried the regular pledge. I may have to switch to something different all together.

Weird, I have always sprayed it on windshields and never seen your problem.

I use it to get bugs off between washings, and on the windshield

I use it on the paint, windshield, seat works real well.
Obviously people like to buy expensive stuff or "bike" stuff cause it makes em feel good.
But Pledge works real well.

Everything wiped and cleaned with a sponge and water. Then Pledge on the paint, NeverDull on the chrome and aluminum, Shout on the engine (with another washdown), and Armor All on the rubber and plastic. Done it for years.

nolafishr: You are probably looking thru polaroid sunglasses. I see the same color fringe around the edges of my windshield when the polaroids are on. I don't when using non-polaroid glasses. ......... BC

I do get a kinda rainbow look around the edges with glass's on but its not visible with them off
and its only there when I first apply

Did you eve try something else on your shield like windex because that will ruin it and it starts by graying /Discoloring ??
