I'm gonna go out a limb and guess that not everyone here has ridden a stock V-rod hard or a100+hp Dyna with serious suspension, brakes and tires. That's ok; I failed to mention a "longer straight" on this road is about 1000yards and it's a bit of a twisty roller coaster. I did say it follows a river. The stock 1130 V-rod dynos I'm seeing are around 100rwhp and 70 plus foot pounds; both at relativly high rpm by big twin standards. I'm trying to prove that for only thousands of dollars more, a big twin can easily keep up with a stock V-Rod. Maybe the drivers weren't as equal...I don't know. Going "cruising" again this afternoon; maybe I'll have another "story" to tell tonight...and maybe I'll get my *** whupped; I'll pick my fight.
Did I tell you guys the one about the dealer built 110 Fatboy?Naaaa...never mind.

Those HQ builds are torque monsters, eh?? I have to get my 95" HQ build dynoed, and the carb tuned, but Reaper pulls stumps as she is right now!
I went riding a couple weekends ago with a fellow that has a V-rod. Needless to say, we ran our bikes hard through the mountains and he had a rough time keeping up. Granted, his bike smoked mine on the straight aways but I was more aggressive in the corners.
When you ride in the twistys it comes down to the person who is more comfortable on the bike.
That is just my opinion and you know what they say about people with opinions.
