I beat a Hyabusa last night with a Shovel.
OK, OK......it was a PICTURE of a Hyabusa, and the shovel was just sitting there in the tool shed, but I beat that sucker anyway.
Fenders racers are the ones that are fun to spank, if you can get them out on the blacktop.Usually when challenged there are all kinds of reasons why they can't take you on.Have fun hunting Sharkey!
It seems reasonable to me. Can anybody here tell me why a 110hp big twin wouldn't hang with a V-Rod? Acceleration is about power-to-weight ratio and this bike makes the same kind of power as a V-Rod and it is lighter.

A v-rod should stop faster because it has brembo brakes. So deceleration is faster.
meh bigger difference between riders than there is bikes..... i've passed lots of sportbikes in the twisties, hangin their knee's way off with their bikes pretty much upright lol. but i know a decent rider on a sportbike would smoke me.....
Straight up, un-modified V-rods:
02-04: 148mph at the rev limiter
05-newer: 142 at the rev limiter
Yes, they will hit the rev limiter in 5th in less than a 1/4 mile. Just be happy we don't have 6 gears. Now the trick is to find a stock V-rod. I've run with some big air-cooleds that could stay with me on the straights. I've even been out accelerated after 60mph. There are some wicked fast big twins out there.
If you left a V-rod in the twisties or he couldn't catch you, the rider doesn't know how to ride. Most of us chase sport bikes through the twisties. We don't often catch them, but we have fun trying!! I love the looks on their faces when the find out a Harley WITH a passenger was ******* them.
