Yea, that bothers me too, especially since you pay a premium price for their products. Imagine what the markup must be when they have cheap chinese labor making them. But it's really hard to find American made clothing anymore. They are some great leather stores like Fox Creek and others.

I just bought a windshield pouch from Fox Creek, mainly because my friend bought an HD one that was made in China. Mine not only cost less, it's made much better. You can have the HD logo.

I only wear HD leathers when riding my bike! I would never have it any other way!

See how Harley Helps you when things go wrong on the jacket after its out of its warranty. $270.00 jacket that breaks a zipper and all you get is a new zipper sent to you.
I am done with Harley Jackets.

Harley has had all their clothing made in China (and accessories in Taiwan, country of origin is marked on everything) for years, this doesn't exactly surprise anyone. Sadly, if HD is going to be competitive, they have no choice.

It's been said before: FOX CREEK.
After wearing a Fox Creek jacket, you realize what a ripoff most of the leather out there is. Not to say that all H-D leather is bad - there are some nice jackets but the made in China label REALLY bothers me.

Why doesn't H-D start a USA Exclusive line? I'm sure there are many H-D riders that would pay more for a H-D branded USA made product. I can't believe they haven't done it yet.

Funny thing is you can get that same jacket from Sears for $125. with out the patches, and I bet you paid over $400 for yours. Can buy alot of patches for that and my shoe shop guy only charges me 2-3 dollars to sew own each patch.

Guess if they had Americans make their clothing they'd have to sell a jacket for $800 instead of $400?. Yea, I can see how that could cost them a competitive edge in the marketplace. Maybe they could at least farm the labor out to Mexico so they don't have to come here for jobs. We don't seem to have a problem with Chinese flooding across our borders for work.

Does anyone know the Country of origin on the "Willey G" jacket? I think it sells for $800-900

+1 for Fox Creek Leathers. Have a good tailor spell out Harley-Davidson in fabric and get it Sewn on. Who said you have to buy HD brand to get an HD Jacket?
