Or it could be you got one good cap and one bad one, Rinehart had a problem with the black coating on the end caps turning copper, supposedly they have fixed the problem and they new ones are not supposed to color change, I also have had only one change, now if only i could get the other one to match, maybe I'll take a heat gun to it.I kinda like the copper better, lol.
Call Rinehartand let them knowthe defect and that you'd like it to be replaced; that's what I had to do. They'll want a receipt showing your date of purchase, and then they'll send out replacement end-caps. However, a lot of folks have had their replacement tips change too. I got tired of the run around after my first round, and ended up replacing the tips with chrome slash-cut tips from Eastern Performance. Never had a problem since. BTW, nice bike - I like that color combination! Good luck buddy!

Thanks Navitimer, I may do just that. But i need to know if the engine is tune right first! I guess that I will ahve to ask the dealer to put it back on the dyno and see.

Flip-flop the caps for a week or to ,and Wahlah.
There you go,,, mine has turned color too,, but I like it,, mine aren't copper but more a reddish purple,, which looks good with my purple paint.
brok02 don't give me an idea to spend more money on chrome,, chrome tips would look good though.
rguilbert you can change the tips yourself, no biggie,,, have your tech check the AFR on both exhausts.
