It's lobe.
Ask 'em where all of the chewed up camshaft and lifter went?
Them little pieces of metal are pretty hard to get out of everywhere.
Yeah, I'd be gettin' one hell of a warranty if they don't tear the whole thing down and make it like new.

Seems to me the motor pretty much stopped as soon as the lobe broke. Therefore, any metal particles hadlittle opportunity to travel beyond the immediate area. I would push for an extended engine warranty and leave it at that. Sound like they have already hooked you up pretty well with the bags and windscreen.
The dealer is doing everything they can to give you back the bike you originally bought.
I would however voice an opinion about having MOCO honor and extend the factory warranty due to this defect. You might also request several free oil changes and use them more frequently to flush any or all metal particles out of your engine.
You've spent a lot of cash on that bike. Let the dealer know you're not satisfied with the quality and let them compensate you for it.
