I will offer some of you a little relief, at least psychological relief. Some of us remember when gas prices were in the teens, as in 18.9 cents per gallon. Even when it was in the twenty cents range we could fill up for less then a buck.

Of course I was only \\;\\\\\\;making $1.60 per hour then. That probably seems strange and unbelievable to some of you. Before any \\;\\\\\\;of you fire of some smarta$$ remark, realize that someday \\;\\\\\\;you will look back \\;\\\\\\;and tell future generations about the good old days of $4.00 a gallon gasoline.
