Thats too bad. Would have been better to just pull over. There are two things that amaze me in this story. 1. That brick mailbox is destroyed. He hit it going very fast. Brick and mortar are strong. 2. What a friend to be riding with his buddy wrecks and dies and the police report the other driver is not found. They must have been drinking for him not to have stopped or this other guy is just a douche and needs to hit his own brick mailbox.

Sumter soldier went twice the speed limit before fatal crash
I'm not saying he deserved to die, but doing this kind of **** is why/how a lot of crashes happen.
