Airbag Jackets- Updates
Searched the forums and read some pros/cons and other opinions in regards to AIRBAG Jackets.
Since they are a fairly new concept - Has anyone actual bought one ? \\; Is there any \\;new \\;information out there either pro or con ????? \\; \\; Just looking for some "hands on " reviews of these AIRBAG type jackets ?.

Close call with an idiot who decided to speed up and turn left in front of me has me thinking !!!! \\; Luckily I was able to brake and swerve around him and back into my lane before another car clipped me .... must of been the dirt bike riding I did when I was a kid

Interesting indeed. I had this mental image of a Michelin-Man type thing bouncing down the pavement after a crash. But, here are a couple of links to these type of jackets

I've only seen them on the webpage but I have to tell you that if one of my buddies was wearing one I'd be real tempted to yank the lanyard that attaches to the bike after a beverage or two and watch him blow up.

OK, what about the one Evel did an advertisement for? \\; It was the inflatable vest.

The commercial shows light cruiser riding down the street and a car enters the road from the right. \\; The biker drops his bike which slides past the front of the car and the biker is OK because his vest inflated. \\; Evel said if he had this device it would have save him a trip to the hospital.

This cracked me up because if the rider and stayed upright and swerve he would have missed the car. \\; Even the sliding bike missed the car. \\;
