What saddlebag essentials?

Just looking for ideas, what are some nescessary items to keep in you saddle bags? Thanks.

Couple cheap pairs of KDs. For day &amp\\; nights.

Spare plugs? (how do you get the old ones out?)
&nbsp\\; Solid wheels?....carry 'stop-N-go" tire plug kit and a 12 volt
air compressor from walmart.&nbsp\\; Spoke wheels....fix-a-flat.
&nbsp\\; Rain gear comes in handy once or twice.
&nbsp\\; Spark plug wrench if you carry spare plugs (I never needed extra plugs.)
I carry a small first aid kit.
Short set of jumper cables (3 foot, home made)
sun screen in the tour pack.
extra set sun glasses.
water makes sense&nbsp\\; (if my G/F is on board, she has some.&nbsp\\; Riding solo, I don't)
&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\; If you ride an AMF........carry allot of phone numbers.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; LOL
