Exactly how do u do the slow race. \\;
 \\;
Especailly if u r a police officer.......how?
 \\;
2nd (not 1st gear)
friction zone
feather the rear brake
head/eyes 5-6' straight infront of where ur handle bars are heading
RPM abt 900??
 \\;
I LOVE!!!!! RIDING. \\; I can do a 5' gate leading to an 18' circle. Both ways. I now NEED to learn the slow race. (It is wicked FUN!!!!!!)
 \\;
Pls, if u know exactly HOW to do it, kindly share it with me. \\; Thanks!

I do everything you mentioned above, but stay in first...
 \\;
use the friction zone, keep the revs up and pressure on the rear brake...head &\\; eyes are up looking ahead as far as I can see....
I know everyone is different but if I practice that every day, how long will it take b4 I am VERY good. Not good but VERY good?
 \\;
Thank you!!!!

You know you're at the right spot with the clutch when \\;an increase in engine rpms doesn't increase \\;bike speed. \\; You're slipping the clutch. \\; Least that's how I do it. \\; \\; \\;
I'm with RIDEIRISH... also...
 \\;
After every few 100 hundred yard slo-race runs, make sure to drive around the block normal speed. Cools off the clutch and rear brake.
Thank you.
 \\; How do u work the back brake? \\; Do u pump it up and down a tiny bit constantly to keep minimal forward momentum? \\; Or do u really come to a full stop. \\; Then when u feel out of balance, move a tiny bit to re-balance yourself? \\; Know what I mean? Those were 2 different things I tried to explain.

I just work that friction zone with the clutch,try and keep turning the bars to a minimum esp if your winning(in the back)if your losing you might have to gently drag the rear brake a lil bit.
Last year the slow race winner at J&\\;P must have had his HD at 4 to 5 thousand rpm. He was barely moving and the flywheel helped to balance the bike. \\; I was amazed but I just couldn't do that to my bike. \\; But if you loan me yours, I'll show you how.
