Spend the money now on a good rain suit and you'll have it for years.

Frog toggs SUCK!&nbsp\\; if you sit still water soaks through at the crotch and Ive had two blow out at the shoulder. VERY not worth the money. Spend a little more and get a Harley suit. Frogg toggs dont hold up to biker wear.

&nbsp\\;
How is the high visibility suit&nbsp\\;in warm temperatures? Does it make you sweat?
I'm 5'11", 175lbs, so I don't normally sweat unless I am very hot- hence, a weight problem isn't factored into sweating in&nbsp\\;rain gear for me.
&nbsp\\;
I appreciate everyones input on their specific Harley rain gear.
&nbsp\\;
If I was going to ride in the rain I would splurge for the Gore-Tex, but the rain gear is going to be packed in my saddlebags only when there is a chance for rain- otherwise I'll take the cage on a day like today when they are calling for a 60% chance of thunderstorms, and possible hail.

I picked up the Harley Hi-Viz last week and got the chance to break it in last week during Laconia Bike Week. I rode thru some hard soaking rain and stayed bone dry.

I highly recommend it.

Does anyone know if there is any concern with melting on the hot exhaust with any of the HD rain gear? &nbsp\\;

If you want cheap go to Wal Mart. You can trash it after the rain. I try couple different types and I still Like mine from harley dealer. Sorry they cost a little more. And they don't roll that small. But I ride everyday winter and summer.
Actually, I got these from Walmart last weekend in the fishing section:

And
http://www.stearnssafety.com/dyn_pro...&amp\\;k=76826

Despite what Stearn's site says, I got both pieces for $90. Bought them 'cause I needed rain gear right then and Walmart was my only option. I really like the quality though. Only downside\\; the pants don't have stirrups so they ride up, but I can get those sewn in.
