Ordered a couple of minor items from Kuryakyn. \\; I wanted to gethen for sure before I left on my trip, so I opted for 3 day shipping. \\; The web site extimated the shipping cost to be $24. \\; When the parts came and I looked at my invoice the shipping charges were $78.
 \\;
I called Kuryakyn to complain. \\; There response was: TS.
 \\;
I will never buy another Kuryakyn part again.

I had a similar problem when ordering bicycle wheels once. \\; The company said tough **** as well. \\; I protested with my credit card company and I got the difference back.
 \\;
What the heck did you order that costs 78 dollars to do 3 day shipping.
I have ordered a several hundred dollars worth of parts from them in the last 2 months, never had a problem, but I always take standard delivery, usually about 7 days. Check your order and make sure its not your mistake, faster processing and shipping always cost more with any company. Hope you get it resolved.
I would never place an order before having a firm cost for shipping. \\; \\;If you weren't given \\;notice of the \\;potential cost, I'd complain \\; to the charge company and get a temporary \\;chargeback. \\; Make \\;Kuryakyn give them an explanation for the shipping cost. \\;

 \\;I used two day shipping once and paid a premium for it. \\; Got my item 6 days later!! \\; \\; I made the stupid mistake of ordering on a Thur before a holiday weekend. \\; \\;

I've never had a problem with Kury or their products. \\; I order their stuff through Eastrn Performance to get better pricing and free shipping. \\; Hopefully your credit card company will protect you.
The only thing I've ever ordered from Kury directly were a replacement peg mount and bolt for my forwards and that was because they don't normally sell them separately. \\; I think I paid 30 bucks for the parts and then 15 to ship but I had no other choice. \\; I have quite a bit of Kury bling on my bike and I like their products. \\; But, I either bought what I have at their tent at a rally (no shipping) or online from a 3rd party and paid little or no shipping and less than retail.
