I agree on the price being high for a few pieces but I could not find anything better priced to go from stock to true dual that would look at least as good as stock. The next best deal I could find was the V&H True dauls at about $320 delivered.

The curved pipe that goes on the rear cylinder is chromed and heavier than stock and it comes with a matching chrome heatshield. I know the chromed curved pipe will turn blue quick as the stock header was blued. The supplied chrome heat shield will cover it just like the stock one so no issue there. The heat shields they send you cover all the new pipes.

The chrome is perfect on all 4 pieces and they send you a new exhaust gasket and retaining ring. Everything went together so easy I thought I did something wrong... lol

cheap out ?

well first of all i didnt spend big bucks on my old 94, and i just caint see spending 400 to 800 dollars for an exhaust pipe.
all i want is the left side anyway's.

my first thought was to just grind off the connector pipe on the right side, and wrap a beer can and hose clamp it on.

and find me a good sized pice of hickory and jam it in the Y conector and plugg that off...

hey ? cheep is cheep.

till i saw the fullsac system on e-bay. i can swing 179 buck's. but even at that price...it's waaayyyy to high.

wonder ? if i e-mail them ? and ask for the kit without chrome ? wonder if it will be any cheeper ??

i think i will !!! that's a great ideal !!!

weet

remove the heat shield on the rear Y pipe, remove about 6 inches from that pipe, plug with chevrolet freeze plugs, they dirve in easily.
reinstall the heat shield and volia, true duals for less that $3.
