Wow, I just responded to an ad in Craigslist about, ...please don't judge.....a Honda CBR......
....I know, I know but It was a good price and I'm looking for a cheap sportbike. \\; The response I got was VERY, VERY similar to the one the Rugar got. \\; Glad I saw it, think its time to grill the "seller" and see whats up. \\; Of course I only respond to ads within driving range, I'll never buy sight unseen. \\; I trust no one.
I answered to the same one about the divorced woman 2 months ago. Exact same wording execpt for a 2003 fatboy with 8500 miles."She" was in Craigslist in Columbia,SC. After I told her I was ready to bring cash and look at the bike the bike was suddenly in Dallas,Tx. I told her I can't buy it if I cant' see it. No response to this day. I looked up the bogus name and called the phone #. The lady that answered was 90 years old and darn near deaf. She didn't have a clue about no motorcycle.
I agree to about a 90% rate on the "if it's too good to be true" statement. The other 10% I have seen as OMG, it IS true. It don't happen very often, but when it does, man does it feel good!
 \\;
In this instance though, it is toooooo gooooood toooooo be true!
You guys seem like the un-scammer bunch. Know where I can find a decent bike for around 6k? It ain't gotta be a Harley, \\;just a decent cruiser for back and forth to work (80 mpd) and maybe a few jaunts in the hills around here in Arkansas.
Yep, been to both. Don't really care for the shaft drive of the zookies and not really fond of non liquid cooled yamis. If I go with a non HD, I will probly go with the wings company. They have liquid cooled on the midsize cruiser. Really hope I can find a semi decent HD for around that figure. A little more wouldn't be too bad.
