We were just up there last week (Thursday) and only 16 miles of Highway to the sun was open from the south end going north. \\;\\\\\\; We ended up riding around the east side of Flathead Lake back to Billings.

Thanks for the warning. I just checked the web site and they are still plowing snow. Think we will try something else.

Check the link before you go, http://home.nps.gov/applications/gla...roadstatus.cfm, parts of the road can be closed and the link will give you the most up to date road status.... Right now part of the road is closed..... I plan to ride it Mid july ...... Enjoy
