I will be riding to Kalispell next week on business. I have a couple of extra days before heading back to do some exploring. Is Glacier worth riding or does it suck due to slow moving traffic? Probably would be there Thursday afternoon or Friday morning.

Avenue to the sun or whatever it's called can get pretty busy but it is beautiful. At least you won't get a speeding ticket like I did in Mt. Ranier national Park two weeks ago!

It's the "Going to the Sun Highway", and yes it's worth riding.

If you're referring to Glacier National Park, I would go if I were you.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; There is only one Glacier left and this may be the last year to see it (as a result of global warming).
Will be heading that way myself in a few weeks.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;
Hope you can&nbsp\\;take a&nbsp\\;few pictures.
&nbsp\\;
Be safe

My dependable (as in he shows up for the rides and doesn't just talk about doing it someday) riding buddy Mark.

My son, why we took this trip.

Don't think about it, just go!

Thanks, I'm sure we will check it out. I just have a "meet &amp\\; greet" at a customers that should only last a couple of hours Thursday. The wife and I will leave Tuesday evening and return Sunday so there should be&nbsp\\;some of time to wander around between there and here. Hope this weeks weather lasts another week.

Camman,
We were just up there last week (Thursday) and only 16 miles of Highway to the sun was open from the south end going north.&nbsp\\; We ended up riding around the east side of Flathead Lake back to Billings.

I haven't been there for at least twenty years, but it IS spectacular and it's one of the few places I have vowed to return to.
&nbsp\\;
You know, some places are OK to be stuck in slow traffic. Glacier would be one of those places.
