Did anyone notice the white 66 Bobber in this months AI? Thats got to be the coolest bike off the show room going, at least to my tastes. If I didn't haul my OL around on occasion I would be looking to get one, but why the 80 inch Evo motor?

If you think it looked cool in the mag, you should see one and sit on it...very cool...an H-D dealer around here is the distributor for SPS...saw the 66 bobber and the Sled there...both quality work.
Well made good looking bikes. \\; 80" EVO is cheap, reliable, can be fixed and hot-rodded without a lot of TC only special tools, and everything fits from about when Columbus landed. \\; My main (only) complaint about the new bikes is that so many parts are "special" for one or two models only. \\; I liked the bikes where just about everything could be interchanged.
I've been impressed with the ones I've seen (dealer up the road in Woodland Park). \\; Personally, I wouldn't want any more cubes on a bike that size. \\; An 80" EVO would be just about right for my tastes.

BTW, there's an Exile 'kit' bike for sale in Colorado Springs that has a 124" in it...its pretty impressive but I don't think I'm man enough for that beast.[:-]
I'm not putting down Evo's, hell I bought a new one in 1990 and it was fine, it just seems as long as they're building a semi-custom they would go with more inches. Personally, I would like to see a motor with those new shovel heads. Now that would be cool.

You can add a 93 inch S&S Shovel motor to any SPS bike as an option when you order for an extra $4,000.
