Yep. \\; I was lucky....
 \\;
I went out in the shop one night and saw that the little lady had put a fork bag on her Sporty 883L. \\; I immediately called her out and told her to watch the bag as I sat on the bike and bounced it up and down on the front suspension. \\; I asked her if it was hitting her fender, and she just smiled and said THANKS. \\; The bag was removed that night.
Unfortunately, this wasn't posted about 6 months ago!! \\; I also have the same dent in my front fender. \\; Left the bag there (to cover my ignorance, I mean the dent), but \\;removed the tools. \\; \\;I am thinking about buying a custom painted set in the future so I will just ride on \\;for now. \\;
My fork bag never has much more in it that glasses and gloves. I never thought about it hitting.
Think I will take a look. Thanks for the heads up.

UncleDon: \\;C'mon \\;man...give the guy a \\;break. \\; This is a problem thats happened often enough that people ought to know about it. \\; You're response is out of line so don't forget take your \\;dumb-**** pill this morning.

Crap! Day 6 of my East Coast trip. Doing a visual inspection this morning and I found a HUGE dent in my front fender. I had a tool pouch hanging there and all I can figure is that a big bump we hit (I remember a few) caused the tool bag to slam into the fender. I have moved the bag but it will be expensive to fix. If that is all I have to gripe about after 5 days and 1200 miles, then I am a lucky man indeed.

Well,thats not so minor,but glad the trip is going well! Have more fun and be careful.
