installed prior to last big \\;trip, some I ride with don't care for it, but they are not the ones that are going to kill me, \\; I run it anytime I'm in traffic, then just go to low beam other times.
I wouldn't own another bike without them.
I have the headlight modulator and the brake light flasher. Being seen is what it's all about.
A flashing light gets your attention over a steady on light.
Oh yeah,
with the signal dynamics modulator you can turn the headlight modulator on or off and they work low and high beam.
they also have a sensor that once it gets dark out they automatically turn themselves off.
Dave
I have mine set up to modulate on high beam only. \\; So all I have to do is switch to low beam and no more modulation (flashing). \\; I generally do NOT use the modulator when riding in a group.
Also, they only work during daylight (there is a photocell sensor).
they're not cheap $130.00... I bought a wig-wag to make my tour pak lights flash when you hit the brake.... $35... big price difference for a very similiar product
When I see a bike with modulators coming toward me, it gives me a miagrane headache. \\; So, if you get them stay away from me or I might run in to you.
I do not own one but this will change. \\; I run a HID headlight which does not allow the use of a modulator. I am presently making a trick mounting system which will afix to the fork tubes kind of like a clamp on a triple tree. The Harley type look too ugly and would not fit anyhow as I am running a inverted front end.
I bought a pair of 3" adjure buckets and a pair of Adjure 1" turn signals. I am going to use the 3" pair for the daytime modulation and the night for front end signature identification (non-modulated). Passing lamps are useless at night when using a HID headlight for seeing in the dark as the HID drowns out (overpowers) other light sources including the rider next to you. \\; You would still see the light from the passing lamps from the oncoming traffic view.
In conclusion, anything that makes you more noticeable and keeps you from being run over is a good thing. I notice them when I am riding/driving in a car.

Just a personal preference for me. I do not care for them and I have no logical explanation for that. I will not run them but at the same time I run turn/ brake light modulators. Go figure. If they make you feel safer and I do believe they make you more visible than they can only be a good thing. I have friends that run them.
