o.k.save the wisecracks!! there are times when i really do want to hear what the boss lady is saying but can't hear her very well over the bike and road noise. has any one had any experience with helment to helment intercoms that are available for bikes? \\; i am friends with both the honda and yamaha dealers, and neither one had anything favorable to say about some of the products that have been available in the past.any realistic suggestions???
I use the Cardo Systems Scala Rider (http://www.cardowireless.com/scala_rider). \\; It is a blue tooth system so there are no wires to plug into the bike. \\; Just charge it up and go. \\; Easily attaches to helmets (three quarters or full faced) and very easy to use. \\; I pick up a little wind here and there, but otherwise it is like talking on a cell phone. \\; I am very pleased with it. \\; You can pick a new one up on ebay for pretty cheap ($150-$170).
+1 on the Scala Q2, the wife and I bought a couple last weekend. They are great, the FM radio isn't to bad either. She can listen to what she wants and I can listen to what I want and still be able to break in and talk to each other. We're using ours for bike to bike communications and so far they've worked great. I've taken a few cellphone calls with it as well and I don't really have a problem with wind noise unless I'm going over 70. \\;

I got the easi-plus. Works great! Very simple, powered by a 9 volt battery. The headsets and boom mics are seperate and are a bit of a pain to install, but if you have a little mechanical inclination you should install them with no problem. The sound quality is very good. I reccomend it.
Just got a Motocomm RiderLink ST-1 for the trip to Sturgis. \\; I've used their two-way radio headsets and they work good. Will install the headsets this weekend and let yall know. \\; Hopefully it will be good. was $165 online.
