cell phones again
Had a near miss today and it could have been really bad involving a cell phone , stupid neighbor and her cutting the butter turning and entering my lane. I would post more but the forum can't take me typing the message out , it times me out. So read between the lines.

I am still angry. I could not think of an appropriate response when this stupid bch tried to kill me and my girlfriend today talking on the cell phone and not driving. My Mother raised me to respect women but it was hard to remember today. Did it but I am not glad about it.

was wondering how much they have to say in person or do they just talk on the cell all the time, i followed a guy in maine for almost 70 miles and when i got off the highway at bangor he was still yapping away.

I seriously hate the damn things! I took my kids to a fun park one fathers day and watched another family there ahead of us. Due to the layout of the park we followed them around most of the day. At no point did dad get off his cell. Obviously his call was more important than his kids. At what point did these brain friers become so indispensable? Why is no one seems capable of functioning without one glued to thier ear? I wonder how life existed before the cell sometimes, judging by peoples behavior!

I will see if it lets me type out what happened. I was coming up to where the road joins a main road in the subdivision. It makes a tee. One of my neighbors, she turned onto my road with me almost at the yield sign. The turn is almost blind because of trees along the road.The neighbor actually cut the butter putting her whole car into my lane. It happened quick, she was moving pretty fast turning and I was slowing to stop. Bike is not very maneuverable at slow speeds two up. I went to the shoulder which is grass or ditch depending on how for you go . Riding two up instead of on two bikes. Managed to keep the bike up and out of the ditch by a small hair. Neighbor just looked away and kept driving. Been lots of close calls in my life but this was a new one. She never quit talking on her cell phone. Enough ranting, just thought I would post this so everyone can add this to their mental book of how dumbasses try to kill us as we ride.
