Add enough air so you know that it is slightly overinflated. \\; Attach the Harley hand pump, and bleed down to correct pressure, detach pump. \\; Works great. \\; Tires should be cold, which means pipes and brakes would be too !

kwb, your tire could be several pounds low on air, but checked when hot, may register high. The lower the air, the more flex, therefore the more heat. Heat \\;adds "false" \\;pressure. Always check cold.
