Both bikes are same price - 2003 Superglide and 2000 Deuce - Both black, good amount of chrome, pipes. \\; I'm curiouse though - can anyone tell me if the clutch on a 2000 Deuce is much harder to pull than on an 07 Road King? \\; I've tried the 2003 Dyna, and it's harder, nut not too bad. \\; I just want to make sure the 2000 Deuce is not the same hard-a$$ pull as a 2003 Sportster I once had. \\; Thanks!
I can't answer your specific question but I will tell you what I've heard from Deuce owners here on the forum. \\; Generally, they love their bikes. \\; The problem I've heard \\;are that there was a dearth of HD factory accessories for the Deuce's...and a lot of frustration on owners part because HD makes parts \\;for other softails but not the Deuce. \\; If you're planning on adding additional accessories to your Deuce (should you buy it) you might check the HD catalog to see about fitment.
 \\;
Good luck and ride safe.
Another thing...my brother-in-law loves his deuce, but he has a 4 gallon gas tank, and the rest of our fellow riders have 5 gallons, so he has to stop sooner for gas. \\; (I don't mind, because I'm usually ready to stretch my legs, anyway!)
The Duece is the best riding HD I have ever owned. Ya there are not a lot of HIGH priced HD parts for it but because it's a softail that has never been an issue. Awesome bike.
See the 02 deuce in my sig. Clutch is not hard but an ez clutch is only about fifty bucks installed no matter the model. It's a softail and mechanical parts are standard. Accessories are sometimes different but I've never had a problem getting anything I wanted.
I love my 04 Deuce! Yes the clutch is much harder than an 07. However, there is a kit to make the clutch as easy as the later models. Costs about 50 bucks and took me about an hour to install!
