I will have a few and ride...depends on how far, how late, what route......At some of the smaller rallies we goto thats a different story....have been pretty drunk a few times on the wet, hilly, gravel roads..
When I was in my early twenties I drank to excess and then rode. \\; I feel lucky to be alive. Now that I have sense I don't drink at all when riding. \\; It messes up your balance even with a couple of beers. \\;
I won't drink at all and ride. I will have one or two drinks and drive, a very short distance, but that's all. I think riding requires too much attention and coordination to be able to do it well with ANY alcohol on board. At least for me, but then, I'm old. Plus, I work in health care. I'm a trauma nurse. I can't remember the last time I took care of someone who wrecked their bike and hadn't been drinking. Even if it was a stupid cager at fault.
i am not much of a drinker as it is (probably a good thing since i own a bar) but if i do have a beer or shot, i make sure i wait at least an hour before i ride. if i am remotely buzzed, i wait
same with weed. i enjoy a good toke now and again, but not within 6 hours of riding (just in case).

florida is dangerous enough on a bike (us 19 is nuts). you have to be a damn fool to ride impaired or without a helmet (i know many hate helmets, but even fighter pilots get geared up for a dangerous activity and can still look cool doing it)
I know some who do and some who don't. \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; Just wondering about your thoughts on this.
 \\;\\\\\\;
If you need to ask, you need to attend and AA meeting.
 \\;
haha. so basically you are saying that bonnie is a drunk bitch that is checking with the internet people for self validation that the dumb *** thing she has been doing is ok? lol
I went on a 150 mile ride through twisties in the Sierras last Saturday. The two others I was riding with were drinking. Im a noob - so \\; no drinking for me. Anyway, watching how their riding style changed as the day went on was interesting, almost scarey a coupe times. \\; And because I was in the rear, following them put me in jeapordy a couple times...
Not trying to come across as a polly anna, becasue I do drink. Im sure the time will come that a beverage or two and my bike will cross paths. Hopefully I will keep in mind what I watched the other day...

I don't think the drinkers/riders will admit to it on this forum, mostly non drinkers will answer.
People who admit the truth will get bashed for sure, so most won't tell the truth, or won't answer
