I think drinking and then riding your bike is just plain dumb. That's just my opinion. Drinking will ruin your life, doing it and then riding, could ruin someone else's.

I agree Flakey. Go to any bar that has a bike night and the majority of the people are over the limit. I've seen alot riders heading out trying to lay rubber and show off. Not worth it in my opinion!
it easier on bike because its easier to stay in between the lines than in the car
In my 20's and 30's and for years and years I would have 3-4 beers and 2-3 shots and leave in the wee hours of the morning. I never got even close to in trouble, never had a DUI because I was always conscious not to give in to that superman feeling of invincibility alcohol makes you feel. I would humbly go home the back way following all the rules of the road. In my 50's now I will absolutely not do it. Its a different time in space. .05 ain't no +-space for fun. Back in the day LEO's needed grounded reasons to pull you over, not so today. Patriot acts 1 and II have up the anty and its damn near difficult to have a good time away from home in my opinion, short of getting a hotel witha bar.
Harley Rendezvous was always great because you could camp for 3 days and let loose and not worry about drinking and driving.
I feel bad for the kids coming up today. They are just as stupid as we were considered at there age but now the consequences are swifter and more severe.
