i don't drink at all when i'm riding.
when i was little i used to ride on the back of my dad's goldwing. he had 2 cup holders on the the handlebars (a beer in each) and had converted one of the side bags into a cooler for extra beer storage. we'ld ride all day.
as i'm older and realize how drunk he had to be by the end of most days, that really scares the hell out of me.

2 or 3 in my car ok. On the bike? No alcohol at all. It just isn't worth the chance of getting killed and not to mention the dui laws these days! $ $ $
Pretty much the same here (though I'm not likely to go past 2 when driving). Before riding, no drinking at all. \\;\\\\\\; I'm in my 40's, though, so I'm a lightweight these days.
 \\;
Wow,... \\; doesn't anyone else see a problem with these two? \\; I'll have one or two 'merican beers with a meal and ride but that's it. \\; People that are "okay" to drive after a couple, but not ride need to reassess their thought process - hope I'm not ridin' the same roads you're drivin'
Used to drink and ride a lot,we loved it then.Back then it was fun,no where near as much traffic as today.Now, maybe 1 beer at most,not a big deal anymore.
Both activities are so much fun that I prefer to devote myself 100% to doing one at a time. Multi-tasking on the afternoon/evening just makes me worse at both.
