What the Westboro poeple want is,a confrontation and for one or more to get hurt. Then they can sue and get more money so they can try to advance their cause. If only we could get the MEDIA to ignore them, no news stories what-so-ever about them, they will wither away.
These effing scumbags need to stay the hell out of Canada. If they DO come up here, I hope the RCMP tasers them til they're all twitching on the ground just before they die like the pigs they are.
I'm a PGR member and have been at a funeral when they showed up. It was hard to hold back but we did what we were supposed to and buffered the family from the idiots. The family never saw nor heard them. The cops were waiting for them to do one wrong thing or take one step out of their "allocated perimeter" and they were going to jail. Lowest form of life on this planet.

Hate destroys the hater, not the hated
Heard a wise old black man on tv say that one time. He had faced all kinds of bigotry and hatred as the first black school superintendent in his area and lived a successful and fulfilling life. I've never forgotten that. The Westboro folks used to protest the Southern Baptist Convention. I'm pretty sure Jesus would find more in common with the folks they're protesting (sinners) than the religiousity they promote. Must be pretty sad to go through life hating for a way of life. Most of the Christians I know here in the South would never dream of disturbing a funeral. Thanks Patriot Guard for protecting the rights of grieving people to mourn in peace. That sounds Christ-like to me. Just my two cents as a former Baptist preacher (I'm Methodist now)
What bothers me is that they give folks a chance to say "See? Christians are just as bad as Muslims." When in all actuality, the folks at Westboro are completely at odds with Christianity as it is taught in the Bible. The Muslim folks that act this way are completely in line with the Qaran.

Exactly. Well said sir. Just because you claim to be something doesn't make it so.
As a PGR member, I have been to two funerals where they were present. Both times, the family had no idea they were there and it was an honor to provide the family cover.
Tomorrow, I ride for Lcpl Kimple's kids in a benefit ride through SE Ohio.
