I ride my bike to work all but maybe 20 days a year. My commute is only a few miles. I put around 8,000 miles a year on my bike.

My commute is 30 miles round-trip. Unless it's snowing, I'll ride in. I work with a guy who rides an old KTM. He rides in everyday, snowing or not. He's bada$$, nuts too, but bada$$ just the same.

I take the bike unless it is actively raining, snowing or there is 40%+ chance of either. Even though I'm in WV I ride year around (although much less in winter) until it gets about 20 degrees in the morn.

My commute is only about 5 miles round trip and I put about 8000 a year on it, which is more than my car. I can keep my miles low cause everywhere I go is within a 10 mile radius and I take the mountain bike alot to work as well.

I live in MN and do home remodeling, HVAC, etc for a living (when I'm living ), and I have not fingered out how to haul all my toolz on a scoot. So, no, I don't commute on mine.
Altho, since I have put the FLH back on the ground, I can put my clipboard, etc in one of the bags, and I use it to go on bids, small service calls, etc.
Actually I am embarrassed, bought Momma her first scoot, an 05 GZ250, she rides it 3 or 4 days a week to work (35 one way), she has logged more miles than me this year. YIKES
The 78 FLH has a whole screamin' TOTAL on the clock of 1418.
Put on a new pre-67 (Tombstone) speedo. Plus workin' the bugs outta it.

70 miles round-trip and I ride it everyday unless it is raining when I walk out the front door. My car is 12 years old and has less than 40k miles on it.

I use mine on dry days as I can't turn up for work wet and bedraggled. Main reason is for fun and enjoyment - but more recently due to now only having one gas guzzling cage which 'her in doors' uses so need a second form of transport.

I commute from Dallas to Houston on Sundays, do my in-town riding for work during the week, and ride back to Dallas on Friday morning. At 58.5 cents per mileage compensation it nets me almost $15k for ten months of riding. December and January can be pretty tough and I usually cage it. At these rates, I can buy a new Harley every couple of years and pay cash.

Every day during the riding season. This year sucked as the bike was in the shop for 10 weeks. I keep my rain gear in the bags and ride no matter what the weather until the temperature drops below freezing.
