Thats a tough call.
I would rather stay home than ride passenger. I would leave it to the wife to decide for me to drive or not. I certainly would respect her decision especially if it is her bike.
Chickens way out I guess.

OK, so the situation isn't quite the same.....but a funny story.....
The OL and I were on the road, and my shift linkage decided it was tired....wrapped it together with tape, but that would only hold so long.....found a Harley shop, and dropped of the scoot. They said it would take about an hour for them to get it done.
We asked where the nearest bar was, I just hate sitting at a dealer, and they told me about a mile down the road. They knew my OL rides, and they all were waiting for her to hop on the back of her scoot, as we headed out. Instead, I jumped on the back, and all the guys from the shop, and even some of the women working in other parts of the dealership, came out running to take a look.
With a big smile on my face, and giving them all my best impression of the Miss America wave who is in a parade......off we went to the local watering hole.
On our return, a few had their camera's in hand, to snap a pic, as we returned.
By the way, my man-card.......does not have an expiration date on it.....
This reminds me of a 89 softail springer brake-down nightmare! On our way to Cooksburg, PA the bike looses its right passengers foot peg. We stop for gas and the regulator failed so we push start him and off to camp we go. Following morning on the way to DuBois HD He gets a flat tire. Run back to Higbes and get a couple of cans of fix a flat and it didn't work. He road it to the dealer with a flat (20 miles) and hi wife picks out a set of pegs and the dealer works on the bike. While we are there he buys a 03 FLHRCI that someone literally trades in while we are there. Being Saturday the bike wasn't going to be able to be picked up until Monday. Steve had his daughter drive the 6 hours with the pickup on Sunday to take the springer home. I had to get back to work on Monday so I follow the truck home. Have you figured it out yet? So, Monday Carl rids Steve bitch back to the dealer (32 miles) so Steve could pick up his bike and ride it home. The best part is there was construction on 80 near the DuBois exit so Steve was rubbing Carl's leg and giving the workers one gay *** wave and Carl kept telling Steve "Stop it, Stop it". I was rolling when they told me the story! I wish I could have stayed till Monday, I would have loved to have seen it!

This would be a real kerfunkal. I wouldn't mind riding...I've never done it. YET, I have seen her drive a car and I wouldn't want to get killed.
I could drive and risk her getting mad, which she would and I would understand why. So I think I would end up with "D" rent another bike or fix mine.
B, Wife is to small to hold up a Dresser with me on the back. In reality she would have no problem with it she knows she couldn't support all the weight by herself, Shes only 5 feet 100 pounds. But if she did, she has the choice to stay home if she wants.
