Depends on what kind of relationship you have with your wife, I guess, but if it were me, I'd choose "C". Ride bitch and let her be (and feel like) queen for the weekend.
OOook.. lets say.. You and yer OL both are experianced riders. Yer OL rides a touring bike, has for years.. Yer bike is down and you have a weekend ride planned just for you and the OL to get away.. Would you..
A. Cancel the ride.
B. Ride the OL's bike and make her ride on the back, even knowing she's gonna be PO'd all weekend so the getaway thing is gonna bite now anyway.
C. Let her drive and just get on the back..
D Check your HOG Membership and rent a Ultra for the weekend - what's $200 for a fun weekend with a happy OL
I'd ride he-bitch. What better excuse for a "reach-around"?
Yep, I ride on the back every chance I get. Women have such wonderful "handles" to hold onto.
Naw. my wife would want me to ride and have her on the back of her Wide Glide. She just learned to ride last year and simply wouldn't feel safe with me on the back and I wouldn't either.
I got really lucky. My wife and I just naturally know who is best at what and we're not competitive. I've posted before that she's a high-powered exec and a very smart gal. In those areas where she excels I just back off and am grateful for her broad range of talents.
It actually surprises me when I read of these types of frictions in marriages.
