I know exactly what you mean, thats what I was really wanting to say, but when I posted I was at work and got cut short for time. I had to post what I had already typed.

Cleaning off that film after a rain sux! I always do it as soon as I get home so that can be a pain in the azz as it is.

Being cutoff and not being able to brake well. In the rain I give lots of room to the car in front of me.

Cool

I spent the last week off and on adjusting, checking, washing and waxing my bike to get ready for the 105th HD rally. I went to the local dealer yesterday to see Bubba Blackwell and to check out a new rain suit. I went into the store and bought the new rain suit and when I got to my bike it started raining so I put the rain suit in the saddle bags and took off down the highway to beat the rain. Needless to say I got about a mile down the road the bottom dropped out. Here I was doing 60mph down the highway didn't put on my rain suit and forgot to put on my glasses on so I could see anything for awhile.

I guess that proves I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed!

badlandr, Slacker and I are in Olive Branch. I don't know about you but I am more than sick of all this rain. The only good thing about it, I guess, is that it is keeping the temp down some.

I hate the stupid looks I get as I am riding the bike in the rain from the cages. Also not a fan of them questions such as did you know it is raining? Are you getting wet? Etc.

The 'skunk' trail. (No front fender)
Especially when it is below 45*, like last night. (NO rain last night, just 'cool', REAL cool)
Trust me, I have perfected that 'cleaning' thing. Less than a 1/2 hour, beginning to end.
And yes, it gets washed 9 times for every 10 times out and about. It is either bugs, or oil, or rain, or oil, or dust, or oil, you git the jest.

About 3 yrs ago, I changed my strategy. If it is raining at the house, here, the scoot stays in the grudge, here. I am too old, and too smart,(?) to leave in the rain, anymore. Sorry, call me a Candy A$$ if you want. See "skunk trail"
