GREAT - me and my Fatboy already feel like redheaded stepchilden - now I'm finding one more reason we're different. wasn't it bad enough we have that wide front tire, small front fender, larger than life handlebars, solid wheels - now I find out we're missing holes in the fenders..... oh Lord - what next??
HD screwed me!! my '08 FatBoy doesn't have one. could someone PLEASE let me know what size I need. I don't want to fail the "fall away test".
thanks
Just call your dealership, they should have them in stock. If they don't stock the OEM hole for the '08, tell them to just look up a '07 fender hole, the specs are the same.
And don't take any crap from them about being on back order, they have them, they just act like they don't so they can force you to let the techs install them for big money. Let us know how it turns out.
Seriously, what's HD's inspiration for drilling holes in everyone's front fenders? I don't like my bikes dressed up, and I have no intention of screwing some piece of chrome to the bottom of my fender.
My old sporty & now my softail have it, all my buddies Harley's have holes there, what gives?!?
