Hello I am just visiting from the Deuce site and am thinking of purchasing a BAGGER ,I have a question and am looking for help, does anyone have a BAGGER without the floor boards as I am not a fan of them...is there a kit available for these and do you have any pictures I can see the look...thanks enzo ediubaldo@mts.net
Why don't you like floorboards? I think a bagger without floorboards just wouldn't be a bagger. My '06 RK is the first bike I've owned that had floorboards and all I can say is I never want to ride a bike with out them especially for any long distance riding. I extended mine out with a kit from HarleyGoodies and that made them even better and along with having highway pegs makes for a comfortable ride.
It's a hard trick to pull off but if you do it right, you'll get nothing but compliments.
I have the Northstar Forward controls on mine and get nothing but positive comments on how they look great with the bike. Boards just didn't go. They're very comfortable and allow me to stretch out a lot more than sitting up and having my knees by the tank. I'm not into floorboards YET but one day, you never know.
Here's what they look like on my Vic. Some of HD buds are looking into them as well.

Reason: Wrong Pic
I've seen a Road King with forward controls and no boards and thought about doing it myself. I'm on the tall side and kinda cramped with my feet on the boards so like OldfartJC did, I got the extention kit from harleygoodies so now when I ride around town or riding the twisties, they work better and when riding the slab, I just put my feet up on the highway pegs attached to the engine guard, settle in, and I'm good to go.
IMHO, a bagger gives you the best of both worlds.
Why give that flexability up if you don't have too?
