Another OK BBQ that gets aclaim around these parts (eastern OK) is "Wild Horse BBQ". It will qualify as being a "joint", for sure. Many so-called "famous" people have eaten there and left autographed pics on the wall. "Wild Horse BBQ" is about 2 miles south of Sallisaw, OK on Hwy 59. Take exit 308 at Sallisaw.
Another place with excellent food is "Bubba's BBQ" in Eureka Springs, AR. We made a 288 mile round trip aboard the Deuce to eat there last Saturday!
When Deucing, we enjoy eating at "joints" too, as opposed to franchise places.

Whenever we head for a ride west of home there is a little resturant in a Small burg called Belleville Wi right on old Hwy 92. Been goin there for years and still forget the name.. Mom and Pop place right down town.. Roseli's or the like.. Anyway.. they serve breakfast anytime.. Have some great burgers and the best roasted french onion soup with mozerella cheese melted on top..
Headin North on the other side of Milton Wi. right on Hwy 26 north is a small bar called the Owls Nest.. they have the best Prime Rib Sanwiches and fries ever..
