Default Cycle Shack Baffles

Just wondering if anyone has put baffles in their cycle shack slipons. I really like the look of the slash cut slipons but would like to tone them down just a little bit. My bike is a 2002 Lowrider, the slipons have a little cup inside just to supply a little back pressure but are otherwise straight through. Anyone??

When I had my Sporty I bought some Cycle Shack slip-ons. Like you, I wanted to tone them down a bit, so I bought some 2" baffles. I had to drill a hole through the bottom of the muffler to bolt the baffle in. I played with tabs in the baffle until I got the sound I liked. I hope this helped.

Do you remember where you found the baffles? Were they a generic brand that you just modified to work?

Yeah I'd like to know also. Have a set of Cycle Shacks on my Street Bob. I emailed them and asked if they made quiet baffles for them but they wrote back that they did not.

Here's a link to a shop that sells them. http://www.jirehcycles.com/
Just enter the word baffle into the search field.

I checked the site and it looks like they are all to small in diameter. I pulled the stock baffle out of the muffler tonight and it measures 2 3/8". I have checked my different sites and there are not any that size. I do have some packing so I may try to just wrap a little of that around the baffle and see how that works.
