Default Help with Kerker slip-ons

Well, I got some Kerker slip-ons for my FLHTCU off eBay. They came completely gutted and without end caps. Just a big old holler pieces of pipe. I know I want the tapered end caps, but what about baffles? Anybody got some of these and run'em without baffles? They are just slip-ons so, how much back pressure do you think I will lose without using baffles (using stock headers)? Any ideas?[]

Don't know much about the Kerkers, but ,you need a baffle for some back pressure and they would probably sound like you know what (s-word) without them, you would for sure have a lot of decel backfire, and lose bottom end and mid range.

I have a 1993 FLHC and I recently purchased a pair of Kerker slipon's with the fishtail ends. The ends srew into the slipon and also the baffle. I opened them up and found the baffles also had packing around them. The packing made the bike sound so quite that I removed them. Now it has a nice sound not to loud, just enough to make it sound like a harley. I haven't tried them without the baffles for the reason mentioned. They will be no back pressure.

I suggest you keep looking on ebay and you will find a set of baffles that fit the slipon's or even maybe a old pair that you can get cheap and remove the baffles putting them on your set.

My 2 cents
