Default V-rod!!

My wife and I went to every motorcycle show, event, whatever, for 3 1/2 years and rode everything we possibly could with the intentions of buying a day-tripper and the occasional over-nighter. We didn't find the Night Rod, it found us. We bought ours in Nov 06. Do you think we like it?

i chose the Night Rod without having been on a motorcycle in over 18 years.

i believe as Cody said above, the bike finds you first

Wink

Hmmm

I have a 01 Roadglide, a 1980 Dyna wide glide, a 1994 heritage Nostolgia, a Kawasaki zx1100, and a suzuki sv650 in my stable. I like them all!!! A bike for every mood and don't own a trailer. LOL

Depends of what sort or riding you want to do.

What bike do you like? Thats the one I would settle for!

Sorry, don't have one that I wish to "give away".

Asking this gang which bike is best is like asking a wino which vintage is best. Ultimately they will all give you a buzz! So it boils down to how much you got to spend and what you want on the label.

I love my fxdc as it suits my riding.... but I often think about a Road King for no good reason than I like it. Not sure you can go wrong if you get what suits you.

Rent a few; thats what I did. Take in the demo days too, but rent the ones you're most interested in for a full day, or even more. Its worth the renatl fee!!

This is the only Harley I've owned, so I'll have to recommend the Fatboy. And welcome to the forums.

Not this question again....

Go to your local dealer and demo a bunch of types, it is that simple. Don't come on a forum and ask for OTHERS opinions, you'll get a thousand different answers..

When you find a bike that you like, take it for a test ride or rent it for a day and see if it fits you well. Also consider if you will be carrying anything...think saddlebags. I won't ride with a backpack so saddlebags are a must have accessory for me. It is always a good idea to consider a motorcycle safety program to improve your riding skills if you haven't been on a bike in a while. Good luck with your decision.

Fat Boys Rule.
I did have to add saddlebags. They completed the bike.
