I'm sure I will catch a lot of flack about this, BUT I am very disappointed in this new format. The old one was much better and finding the information that you were looking for was a lot easier. I have to look twice as long for what I want to know and still can't find it. Seems like now HD Forums is more interested in advertising and putting more junk that I don't exactly want to look at than they are in providing the good quality information and great member posts that got me to join in the first place. When I first bought my bike and found HDForums I was thrilled because this being my first Harley, a used 98 lowrider, not having a manual or any friends with Harley's, and not really knowing how to work on my bike (am a pretty fair car mechanic) that I had found a place that provided me with good info and different points a view which enabled me to fix what was wrong and improve a lot of things because of what I had read. I used to get on here 3 or 4 times a day and now with the change in format, maybe 2 or 3 times a month. I know this is long winded so I will stop here by saying, I just don't like the new format but thanks for letting me have my say.
I think the owner of this site would be happy to set it up any way you would like as long as you are willing to pay for everything including lose of advertisers. Pay up or shut up...
As has been posted numerous times already, you don't have to put up with all the ads.
If you don't want to see them, then use the blocking tools available for your web browser of choice.
The forum is not going to do away with the ads. So, get used to them or block them.
Explain to me what problems you are having finding what you are looking for. Other than the look everything is set up exactly the same as it was. Maybe you just need someone to explain the changes to you. I'd be happy to discuss your problems with you if you want to PM me.

P.S. I went into your User CP and clicked on Edit Options and tuned up your account a little. You may find things a little easier now. Check it out.
I found the new format a little confusing at first, being the computer dummy that I am,but after a bit of trial and error,,I like the New and Improved version. Thanks to all who were involved in the process.
granted the added advertising might at times be a little "grrrr" on the otherside I have to say that this is a good sight and a great community with fun and helpful members and if to keep this site running well I will take into account that there has to be some advertising to run this show.
In time we will all get used to it and not even notice anymore
