I remember those.I think they were made in Italy by Benelli or Gorelli,something like that.

Aerrmachi (sp?) made them and HD branded them. I never had a Shortster, but I did have 65cc, 125cc, 175cc, and a 250cc versions. Those were good bikes. Just as tough as the Suzukis and Hondas that were their competition, and usually faster, cc for cc.
