I like a little spin when I gas it from a stop light as it builds up speed, but for me the front brake or up against the wall is just dumb. Just my own opinion.
This thread got better after the first 3 pages or so, that was when all the grannies stopped lecturing about how to hold a book on your head and when to say "thank you" and "excuse me."
me and a couple friends were at a local watering hole and had quite a few beers, while getting ready to leave, our barkeep friend said "hey, let's see some burnouts",well...we pulled out to the end of the drive-way and let-um rip.Side-by-side we put out enough smoke that we couldn't see each other....The funny thing was...that a leo parked about 50 yds.away did...You can't imagine how cool blue lights look at sundown through smoke!! It was freekin' surreal!!!!.......We shut down when we finally realized what was happening,he came over to us laughing and said,"what the hell are you guys doing, and you, didn't I let you go on a speeding ticket yesterday?" He chewed our azzes for a bit and told us to get outta here.which we did...as he walked back to the cruiser laughing. Since then,I quit drinking, and the leo bought a bike.Ya gotta love a small town!!!!!!
Nuttin like smokin a fatty!!!! Consequences can be expensive!!!
*Breakin and bending chit!!!
*Repalcing rear tires
*Losing control and slamming your azz into somthing
*LEO's watching from a distance and then coming up to give you your certificate of stupidity
*Friends video taping you for celebriy status on U-Tube
Watched a guy do one in Daytona a few years ago on a crotch rocket... LEO pulled up next to him while he was doin it and after he was finsished the Bike LEO gave him a thumbs up, turned on the lights and handed him his certificate of stupidity!! Hehe!!!

You can just get the rev's up and dump the clutch, but your running the risk of the bike wanting to wheelie instead. using the front brake is the safest way to get started for sure!
Have fun and play in a safe area
Yup, know this for sure, thought I was being cool, but my EG did a small wheelie, then took off like a rocket, knocking me back onto the passangers seat, I had it about wide open, and I lost my grip on the throttle side, and thankfully managed to grab the bars again while it was doing it's wobble wheelie, got it back under control just before it was about to go into the woods!
NOT doing that again....LOL
