Gumby, I for one think it is a great idea. For all those of us who have to concern ourselves with PMS (that's parked motorcycle syndrome) a quick link to all tips / suggestions is a good idea.
I am always confused when I should change the summer air to winter air in my tires. What is the correct procedure - do I hold the valve stem down or does the air "drain" better with the valve stem at the bottom of the wheel with the stem removed. Will it matter if some of the summer air is left over and mixes with the winter air ? I have seen a tire "air flush" product advertised recently. Does it really work "as seen on TV"?
Thank you for your advise.
Rizzo.
P.S. I am a 612'r, do I need to wait before my air change?
scratching head in bemusement.... I think I've hit on a GREAT IDEA!!!
All you northen owners.... ship the bike to an owner here in the south, make sure the keys, registration, and insurance papers are with it, and we'll keep the bike safe, and warm, and well ridden over those long cold winter months...
This is the time of the year that I thank GOD that I live in Texas! I don't think that I could live in a place where the COLD shut me down for months. Sorry for you guys!

This is a depressing conversation to hear. I don't know how you guys in the cold climates do it (park your bike for a few months straight!). I'd be on a suicide watch if I couldn't ride is all i can say!
Luckily here I can ride about 360 days out of the year if I just bundle up good or wear my rain gear. My prayers are with you all who must go into hibernation.
no B.S. i do keep the wife and my bikes in the dinning room. its just more secure and nicer to tinker with rather than in -20 degree weather.
Do you have experience with tinkering with the wife in -20 degree weather? On the other hand, my wife is a bit cold, so maybe I'll leave her in the garage and bring the bike in the house.
