I bought a fuel filter that connects to the fuel line at pepboys. Its supposed to go between the fuel tank and the pump, atleast on my bike.
On the instructions inside it says not to use on motorcycles so im returning it. Can I get a fuel filter that will work on a bike at a place like pepboys or autozone? and what should I look for to know it is suitable for a bike?
Need to know what kind of bike you have to really answer, but I used a standard glass fuel filter on my carb'd EVO with no real issues. The only thing was routing it through the V. I originally put it in with a slight "uphill" in the line and it sputtered at low speeds. Shortened the hose a bit so it was all "downhill" from the petcock to the carb and it has worked fine.
