Funny thing, years ago I was in a BMW dealer on Long Island to look at accessories and right on the showroom floor was a used Harley Low Rider, obviously from a trade-in. I inquired about the price and the salesman tried to sell it to me, so I guess attitudes change when there's a commission involved!!
Yeah Man, Those Chevy's suck! Oh... wait... all of em except mine (in the Avatar). But, I like Fords! Now I'm confused... but I hate people that are confused... but it's Ok that I'm confused... I think!
And my Honda.. oh crap, should I burn my Honda? Need more black coffee... more Jelly Belly's so I can think clearer...
Has anybody here ever used JB Weld to hold up their chaps?
Here's one for ya......as long as a friend and I had Harleys, the local owner was friendly as could be. Would sit/stand and chat with us everytime we walked in. Now that the dealership moved to a huge building/showroom and we don't do Harleys anymore (except I have an '05 in the garage), the owner walks right by, doesn't say hi, boo chit anything...nose in the air. Now that we're not buying, owner doesn't have time for us.Yup, have a building full of '08's that have been sitting since last year. We don't pay any attention to him. The salespeople are friendly and will take the time to chat. I go to the Honda dealership for wax cleaner and Plexus...they all say hi and can I help you. Go figure.

This sounds like one of those moments when you need to open up a great big m--f--kin' can of "Ted Nugent" attitude and lay it out for these sorry as*ed numb nuts..............
Ever wonder why it's apparently OK for Ted to talk the way he does?
Freedom.........."Celebrate it"
Never had a shop do that with any bike and I make a point of riding the "wrong" brand whenever I go to a dealer
I've chatted with Harley parts guys about Triumphs, Ducati salesmen about Dynas...it's all been good.
Now outside of a shop....lots of comments, especially on forums like this...only really had one to my face directed at me. On my sporty, had the old styel detachable windshield, so the mounts stayed on the forks. One of them fell off. I took the ninja to the harley dealer and was getting back on when the guy next to me say "oh a ninja...". You know, with that tone? So I responded that part of my harley fell off so I had to take the reliable bike and went on my way
Dude, I’m not making the story up. I know a lot of people have a tendency to stretch the truth on forums but I assure you that what I posted is 100% accurate. I posted because this has been the first time anyone has treated me differently because I own something that apparently other people don’t like.
Personally I don’t give a sh*t if you believe me or not.
