Default A/C flow and performance ?

Seems every where I turn I get shot down on my AC slection. That is a good thing. Hate to waste money if I dont have to. Here is the question. I know we have a chart out there showing CFM's on various AC's, I just cant seem to find it. We should make that a stickey and label it I think. So here it is. I have the K&N inside my football, it works. I have a Hypercharger Pro sitting on the floor staring at me, I hear it is a waste of money and to go elsewhere. I have been looking at the Forcewinder, even tho' it should give me more leg room it is going to cost me like 7HP. Too many ponies to give up I say. So what do I get. I know lots use the AN Big Sucker, open AC tho' . Looking at Zippers as the dang thing flows over 300 CFM I hear. As I have a Superglide I have been convinced to step on out and go for the Headquarters 120 kit. Go big or stay home I say. Gotta get my life insurance paid up I guess. So what is an old man to do. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Only at wide open throttle. Most of the gains or losses that get into print are at the big end of the scale. How much riding do you do at WOT? What I'm saying is, most all aftermarket air cleaner assemblies are an improvement over stock. At part throttle your engine doesn't require max flow though the air filter.

You decide if you really need that last 2-3horsepower.

I'm not computer savvy to do this right but the the chart is located in the Nightrider 02 Field test thread located at:https://www.hdforums.com/fb.asp?m=3348166.Actually looking at the chart the hd screaming eagle @ 287 cfm is right up there with the best of them and better than the Kuryakyn.Hope this helps.I just tried the link I gave you and it didn't work, but it is in the nightrider thread somewhere.
