Instant E Mail notification

Instant E Mail notification
I used to get notification under User CP, but for some reason it has stopped working in the past week. Anyone else having this problem?

Click on the "User CP" tab at the top of the page.
On the left side of the page click on "Edit Options" under the Settings & Options section.
Under the Private Messaging section click (checkmark) the "Show New Private Message Notification Popup" box.
Go to bottom of page and click the "Save Changes" tab.
That should solve the problem......
